Join us for Global Talent Idaho’s Career Summit on October 7^th to help our job seekers practice and enhance their interview skills. Volunteers put their expertise to work in mock interviews and provide feedback to teach our job seekers how to master the interview process.

Logistics:

The session will start with a catered lunch and 20-minute volunteer training/orientation. We will run two practice interviews of 45 minutes each – 30 minutes for the interview, 10 minutes for face-to-face feedback, and 5 minutes for our written feedback form.

Following the mock interviews we will have a networking session which provides the opportunity meet our talented job seekers while they get to practice their networking skills and meet more industry professionals. The program will conclude with participants sharing best practices and recommendations.

One of the biggest hurdles facing these talented professionals upon their arrival in the U.S. is developing professional resumes, interviewing and networking skills to succeed in the U.S. job market. Just a few hours of your time can mean a new life for these fully work-authorized professional refugees and immigrants.
