Renee had a brilliant idea... participate in the Light the Night Event to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I have registered as a team captain and please consider joining the team to Light the Night! The event is on Thursday, October 3, 2019. We can celebrate Jim Martin's son's remission and show our support for Michael and his family.
The Treasure Valley Rotaract Club will be having a relaunch in September (details to come) but they are actively pursuing new and vibrant members. Please send Katie an e-mail if you know someone who would be a good fit.
Every 37 minutes Make-A-Wish® grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us in everything we do. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.

The applications for Rotary Youth Exchange (students departing Fall 2020) are now open.
To qualify, Rotary requires that students be between the ages of 15.5 and 18 upon arrival the host country, be in the upper third of their academic class, be of good character and emotionally stable, and be in good physical health.
Most importantly, students must be able and willing to be a good ambassador. Students who will graduate from their high school the same year they leave on their exchange are acceptable in the program so long as they meet the age requirements and are accepted by the host country.
